English 4, Post 1, 'A country you would like to visit'

Hi, I'm very excited to be back to write in my post again, so in this occasion I will write about a country that I would like to visit.

One of the country that I would like to visit is Switzerland, because it is a very beautiful place with wonderful landscapes with the snowy Alps all around and its glacial lakes, I think the atmosphere of the place is lovely.

It is also the country of penknives, watches, chocolate and cheese, things that I like very much. They also have many castles with magical stories, so I find it very interesting.

Apart from wanting to go on vacation and get to know all those beautiful places and eat lots of delicious foods , I think it will be a very good place to live and study, because it is a very quite and safe contry in general, with a good quality of life, also has a great develpment of science and technology, so I think it would be a good option to develop as a biochemist.

Hi, today I'm going to write about the best holidays I've ever had, because I've never been to a concert before, only to local festivals, like the peñaflorina week. This vacation was in february 2020, with my boyfriend and his family we went to San Sebastian, in Cartagena, Valparaiso. We stayed a week on that beach, but it was the best week of the year, because it was the last "normal" vacation I had, since then came the pandemic.  The reason why it was my favorite holliday is because it was the firs vacation I spent with my boyfriend, we had never spent so much time  together, so it was a good opportunity to get to know each other better. I really liked when we would go for walks along the waterfront at night and go to see the craft fairs and games, it was very funny. Post 6: How can your mayor make the world a better place?

Hello everyone, today I will writte about how Biochemistry can make the world a better place    Biochemistry is very important because it's in charge of studying the chemical composition of living beings, especially proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and nucleic acids. Without it we couldn't understand the processes of photosynthesis, protein synthesis, metabolism, etc. and although all this looks very scientific, it has many applications in everyday life, for example thanks to Biochemistry we can establish the parameters to have a balanced diet, and something much more current are the vaccines against COVID-19 because to create them biochemical analysis is needed. In the future I would like to be able to contribute to the issues that most affect us as inhabitants of this earth, which would be health and the environment, I would also like to help people understand the importance of science, so that we can all build a better world (and future) for everyone.

English 4, Post 8, English Language challenges

Hello, today in this last post I'm going to write about my experience with English and the challenges it presents. But first, I want to thank my professor of English for this semester, Professor René, because even though we have very late classes, he is always with the best disposition and he makes us laugh with his bad jokes. My experience learning English at the university has been very good, I started with English II and along the time I've had very good teachers, I've learned and remembered a lot of things.
