Hi, today I'm going to write about the importance of biochemistry in medicine and how they relate to each other.

Biochemistry and medicine are closely related. Biochemical studies have revealed many aspects of health and disease, and the study of various aspects of medicine has opened up new areas of biochemistry. Biochemistry makes important contributions to the fields of cell biology, physiology, immunology, microbiology, pharmacology, and toxicology, as well as to the fields of inflammation, cell injury, and cancer. These close collaborations emphasize that life, as we know it, depends on biochemical reactions and processes.

About 70% of medical diagnoses are based on laboratory studies: blood, urine, tissues, etc. These studies can only be realized by a biochemist, however, these professionals are also dedicated to the direction and coordination of laboratories, quality control of medicaments and the investigation and development of biomedical products.

In conclusion, biochemistry constitutes one of the most important, fundamental and biotechnological bases of the health area, and is one of the disciplines with the capacity to resolve actual and future problems.

I Hope you enjoyed this post, bye~
